Lee Ames is a bestselling author of drawing books for children. He was born in 1921, began his career as one-man advertising agency, and later on taught vocational artwork as a children's book illustrator. He also worked on animated films for Walt Disney Studios, wrote magazine comic strips, and illustrated covers for numerous books. His list of many children’s drawing books include Draw Fifty Animals, Draw Fifty Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Animals, Draw Fifty Famous Faces, Draw Fifty Vehicles, Draw Fifty Famous Cartoons, Draw Fifty Buildings and Other Structures, Make Twenty-Five Crayon Drawings, Make Twenty-Five Felt-Tip Drawings, Draw Fifty Dogs, and many more. Mr. Lee lives in Mission Viejo.
