Mike Venzia has written and illustrated over 100 books for children about great artists, composers, the U.S. presidents, and the world’s greatest inventors & scientists. The books are Children’s Press/Scholastic’s Number One best-selling trade books and are long-standing favorites in schools and libraries. Mike’s World’s Greatest Artists series has been published in five foreign languages and have sold over four million copies. Original illustrations from his book series have been exhibited at The Art Institute of Chicago. Mike has been interviewed for numerous national and local newspaper and magazine articles. He has also been interviewed for television features, including Chicago’s Channel 2 News “Eye on the Family,” and he was featured on News Channel 3, Phoenix, Arizona. Mike enjoys bringing the world of art, history and science to children, parents, teachers, librarians and docents at speaking and signing engagements around the country.
