 Mission Viejo prepares to celebrate

24th Annual Walk Against Drugs

RRWalkers 08

& 5th Annual Emergency Preparedness Expo

The success of Mission Viejo' signature event, the "WALK Against Drugs", can only be attributed to the solidarity of partnerships between all facets of the community. The City, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, both the Capistrano Unified School District and Saddleback Valley Unified School District, businesses, service groups, students and families continue in great partnership.  Together we are sending the message that we care about each other and share n the common goal of saying no to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

Westbound La Paz Rd, between Marguerite Parkway and Chrisanta Drive, will be
closed from  6:30 am til approximately 9:30 am to ensure the safety of City Staff and walkers.

Free Shuttles: will be available starting at Newhart Middle School at 7:00 am, to and from Mission High School, until 12:45 pm.
Starting at 9:00 am the shuttles will pick up at
the Norman P. Murray Community & Senior Center, 24932 Veteran's Way.
