Saturday April 30th & Sunday, May 1st 2016
This year's festival will celebrate the arts and culture of the 1990s.
Guests will enjoy art workshops, musical and dance performances and will witness the black top being transformed into amazing works of art.
The fun-filled festival features an array of tasty fare, a beer and wine garden, and arts and crafts available for purchase directly from the artists who created them.
Applications for artists and more information can be found here:
Featured Artist 2016 - Maaria Kader
Some people are born with raw talent. Maaria Kader is one such individual. For nearly two decades, Maaria has nurtured her flair as a street painter to create the most awe-inspiring works of art. In fact, you’ve probably seen her work transform the blacktop outside the community center into larger-than-life characters during the City’s annual Arts Alive.
Photos of all of the chalk art entries and winners from 2015 are available in the galleries section.
Arts & Crafts Vendors
A wide variety of handmade arts and crafts will be available for purchase from the talented artisans who created them. Artisan booths flank the Chalk painting area and there will be booths for painting, photography, handicrafts, woodworking, jewelry and more.
