In this virtual event presented in partnership with Warwick's Books, author Melanie Benjamin discusses her new book, The Children's Blizzard.

Her newest historical novel is based on oral histories from survivors, and tells the gripping story of the surprise blizzard of 1888. At the hour when most prairie schools in the Dakota Territory were letting out for the day, a terrifying, fast-moving blizzard blew in without warning.
