Don’t miss delightful Mission Viejo High School musical production March 1-2

Drama students at Mission Viejo High School are gearing up to present the musical "You're A Good Man Charlie Brown" March 1-2.

Based on the “Peanuts” comic strip with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, the performances take place at 7 p.m. at the Mission Viejo High School Performing Arts Theater located at 25025 Chrisanta Drive.

“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” is a delightful musical that has charmed audiences for five decades. The original musical opened on Broadway in 1967 as the high school prepared to hold its first graduating class.  From the trials of first loves and little league championships to battles with book reports and kite-eating trees, the Peanuts’ gang enchants audiences who spend a day in the life of the inept but ever hopeful Charlie Brown while he searches for what it means to be a good person, finding unexpected answers from friends Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Patty and Snoopy.

The production is directed by Lisa Goins with vocal direction by Diane King Vann.
