Don't miss MVTV's special on high school marching band competitions

Mission Viejo Television (MVTV) is now airing the first of a three-part special series featuring the incredible marching band programs at our local high schools.

The first 30-minute segment captures Capistrano Valley High School’s award-winning Black & Gold Brigade with performance footage from recent marching band field show competitions.  The footage includes interviews with directors, judges, parents and several students.

“Mission Viejo has an incredible arts community and incredible support,” says Andy Waldukat, director of Instrumental Music/CVHS Marching Band.  “I think that my program, as well as Mission Viejo High School and Trabuco Hills, are programs locally that are thriving because the community supports the arts so much and we allow young artists to develop and nurture.”

The show is airing daily at 3:30 p.m. on MVTV, which is available on Cox Channel 30 or AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
