Learn to Play Bocce Ball
If you’ve always wanted to learn to play bocce, now’s your chance. Enjoy an easygoing pace playing on the City’s beautiful bocce courts from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 7.  All equipment is provided. 

What to Expect at Your Annual Medicare Wellness Visit
Medicare covers an annual appointment to discuss your plan for preventive care in the coming year. On Thursday, June 8 at 1 p.m., Dr. Arnold Cuenca will discuss the different components of this visit and how to get the most out of it.

Peripheral vascular disease is a common cause of leg pain and can lead to serious problems. Join vascular surgeon Dr. Wang Tang at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13 to learn about the risk factors and management strategies.

Guided Autobiography Series
Are you looking for a way to record your life story? Developed by Dr. James Birren, Guided Autobiography is a process that helps you recall and record the significant moments of your life.  This interactive class will teach you how to write your own life story. The program begins at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14.

Stroke and Cholesterol Lecture and Carotid Artery Screening
The RTH Stroke Foundation will host a free lecture about stroke and cholesterol as well as conduct carotid artery screenings from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 20.
The carotid artery/stroke disease screening is painless and non invasive. You will receive the results immediately during the program.

Cervical Disc Replacement- An Alternative to Cervical Fusion
Spinal fusion is not the answer to relieving every case of neck or back pain. Dr. Jason Liauw, a Mission Hospital neurosurgeon, will discuss new technologies that can alleviate neck, shoulder and arm pain while preserving natural spinal motion and biomechanical properties. This program takes place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.

Magnificent Marbled Mug Craft
Sip and savor your morning Joe or cup of tea in a magnificent marbled mug. In this creative program, you will use ink, rubbing alcohol and a straw to create a watercolor effect on a ceramic mug that you’ll take home. This program is from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, June 23. Cost is a $10 lab fee payable to the instructor.

You are what you eat!  There is a lot of truth to that.  Learn which superfoods are beneficial to maintaining a strong and healthy life during this free presentation on June 27 at 1 p.m.

Annual Operation Baby Love Shower
This annual Operation Baby Love on Wednesday, June 28 includes lunch and a program for folks who created hand-knitted/ crocheted items for needy children in the community and those supporting this community service. Bring a new, unwrapped item or handmade gift for a baby. The Saddleback Valley Assistance League sponsors this event that takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
