Keeping with City tradition, the State of the City video will air during the December 12 City Council meeting.

Why do you have to purchase tickets to an event that it's main purpose is for the city's public to have equal access to in the first place?

The State of the City video will be presented at the City Council Meeting in December (on the 12th) as it has been in prior years. This year, the Chamber of Commerce had a new idea to host a State of the City fundraiser (and screening of the video) to benefit the Chamber of Commerce which, as you know, supports local businesses. In addition, veterans will be honored and women in leadership will be highlighted at the event. While there is a cost to attend the Chamber event, there is no cost to see the State of the City video on the City's YouTube channel ( or at the December City Council Meeting.

This is bogus, the Veterans have to pay $65 or $70.00 ( your documents don't match) to attend. This is Not for the Veterans, Wendy wants a party to kick off her next campaign. The Chamber is not supposed to be political!
