2nd Annual Paddle For the Battle: American Cancer Society Charity Pickleball Tournament

100% of ALL event registration fees will go directly to the American Cancer Society to help create a world with LESS cancer and MORE birthdays. Tax-Deductible receipts will be available on the day of the tournament for registered players, or for those who make a donation during the event. Event also features a public silent auction, which will close on Sunday after final matches are complete.

Saturday and Sunday May 2-3

$70 team (set-partner) | discounts available for multiple events!*

Each division will feature up to 12 teams (set-partner), with consolation bracket and 20-minute timed win/loss matches (including 2-minuet warm up). Players will have 10 minutes in between matches before the next round begins. Court assignments will be announced and players will have 2 minutes to warm up, before playing an 18 minute game in Win/Loss format. Players should switch sides after 6, 12, or 18 points are scored. Each team may call a 1 minute time out during the match for water, but not within the last 5 minutes of play. When time is called, if players are tied, the ball will remain in motion. Whoever is not able to return the ball, or hits the ball out, takes the loss for the match. After each round, volunteers will collect the WIN/LOSS cards, and new court assignments will be announced and posted.  

To register, click on the corresponding links below. Match start times are estimated. Players will receive a complete player packet 1 week prior to the event when registration closes with court assignments and start times. Players should arrive 30 minutes before play begins for announcements.

*Single players needing a partner should call the club prior to registering. NO REFUNDS will be issued for this event. Players who need to withdrawal may name a replacement player instead at no charge. Additional events are $17.50 per player (call for discount - 949-859-4348 x 5722).
