Book Chat with Michelle Gable - "The Summer I Met Jack"

On Wednesday, June 20 at 7 p.m. the Friends of the Mission Viejo Library will host Michelle Gable at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way to discuss and sign her most ambitious novel to date.

Based on a true story, “The Summer I Met Jack” recounts the story of Alicia Corning Clark, a beautiful, young Polish refugee who arrives in Hyannisport, Massachusetts, and begins work as a maid for one of the wealthiest families in America – the Kennedys.  Alicia is immediately charmed by the large and charismatic family, Jack, in particular, and readers will be as well.

“The Summer I Met Jack” is a captivating read on the heels of Michelle’s “New York Times” bestsellers “A Paris Apartment,” “I’ll See You in Paris,” and “The Book of Summer.”

Books purchased on site will receive priority book signing and the Friends will be hosting a wine bar.  Email libreference@cityofmissionviejo.org with your name and the number in your party or call 949-830-7100 ext. 5105 to make your reservation for this free program.
