Make plans to attend the DAWG Adoption Extravaganza & Pet Faire on Saturday, October 6 along the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park.

The City of Mission Viejo Animal Services Center and Dedicated Animal WelfareGroup (DAWG) team up to host this fun event.

The event includes a pristine walk along the Oso Creek Trail and the Pet Faire, which features local businesses, animal rescues, booths, entertainment, music, raffle prizes, refreshments and much more. Dogs needing loving, new homes will be available for adoption. Registration for the walk begins at 7 a.m.; the opening ceremony is at 8 a.m. and the walk takes place around 8:15 a.m.
 
The Pet Faire is free and runs until noon. The DAWG Walk is $30 to participate. Proceeds benefit the orphaned animals at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center at 28095 Hillcrest. Visit dawg.org to register today.

Bikeway Survey

The City of Mission Viejo is developing a Bikeway Master Plan to improve the cycling experience in our community and encourage more people to enjoy riding their bicycles. We are currently in the process of gathering information to understand current cycling trends and preferences in the City.

As part of this effort, beginning on November 8th and running through December 7th, we are seeking resident feedback via a short, online survey. The survey will be available on our website, in our newsletter, and via our social media sites. 

The online survey is available at https://tinyurl.com/missionviejobike, and those who participate will qualify for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
