Document Shredding

Mission Viejo residents and businesses can destroy their sensitive documents during the free drive-through Document Shredding event on Saturday, November 9.
Hosted by Waste Management and the City Public Works Department, the event is from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Mission Viejo High School parking lot at 25025 Chrisanta Drive.
Identity theft is one of the fastest-growing crimes in the nation, and shredding documents with personal or financial information can be an effective measure of prevention.
Residents and businesses can bring up to 10 legal-size boxes of paper records—cancelled checks, pay stubs, credit card statements and more—for immediate shredding by Orange County Shredding. Documents can contain staples and paper clips but must be free of notebooks or other bindings.
