FREE Compost Giveaway

In light of the compost not arriving during our August event, the City of Mission Viejo, in partnership with Waste Management, is hosting a second event on Saturday, October 10th. The FREE compost will be dropped off at the back of the Mission Viejo Animal Shelter's parking lot (28095 Hillcrest). Mission Viejo residents are welcome to bring their own shovel plus a bag or container and fill it up with fresh, healthy compost for their garden. Residents may stop by any time after 11:00 a.m., but please note compost will only be available while supplies last. We also ask that during this event you please follow proper social distancing guidelines and wear a face mask.
