Join us for a presentation on Colonial America and the founding of the United States. The program will focus on the experience of veterans and the home front of today as compared to the Revolutionary War period. Speaker Robert Parker currently works as a history teacher at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano and is a Marine veteran, having served as an officer for 20 years. He holds a BA and a Masters in history.  He has been a recipient of a United States Congressman’s Recognition Certificate for Veterans Who Teach and is a national presenter for the United Nations Association of the United States. This program is open to all ages and free! Revisiting the Founding Era is part of a grant funded by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History. Find pre-reading materials and more here.
