New Veterans' Resources at the Library and Free Course

The Mission Viejo Library will host a Retirement Financial Literacy course for veterans that combines life and retirement planning concepts. It will take place on Sunday, May 20th from 1-4 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. The program is free for all veterans and their partners. It will include strategies for retirement planning, investing, and estate planning. This program is made possible by a grant from the California State Library called “Veterans Connect @ the Library”.  Please contact the library to register for the Retirement Financial Literacy course by calling 949-830-7100 ext. 5105.

The library also has many new resources of interest to veterans on subjects such as job searching, transitioning to civilian life and applying for military benefits.  These resources are available due to the grant.  Visit the Mission Viejo Library soon to browse these materials and more.
