Día de Los Muertos

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at the Norman P. Murray Community Center.

Experience the cultural richness and traditions of the Day of the Dead with Mariachi entertainment, Folklorico Dance performances, face painting, and engaging craft activities. Explore the multicultural artisan market and savor authentic food, beverages, beer, wine, and Sangria.

This year, don’t miss the Catrina/Catrín contest, where participants can showcase their creativity by dressing as the iconic elegant skeleton figures that symbolize the spirit of Día de Los Muertos. It's a fun and exciting way to embrace the festive spirit of the celebration!

Honor your departed loved ones by contributing their framed photos to our community Ofrenda (memorial altar), or apply to create your own personalized memorial altar.

It’s a day filled with food, fun, and a fiesta for the whole family! For more information or to apply for your individual Ofrenda and enter our Catrina/Catrin contest, contact the Mission Viejo Activities Committee office at 949-830-7066.
