New cookie and sandwich shops open
Cookie Co. Mission Viejo is gearing up to open on Saturday, April 15 at 25106 Marguerite Parkway, Unit B in the La Paz and Marguerite shopping center. This will be the first Cookie Co. in Orange County.
According to Mission Viejo franchise owner and resident Charles Heilman, Cookie Co. is a gourmet cookie bakery that has more than 100 different recipes. Cookie Co. Mission Viejo will offer four different flavors a week with chocolate chip as a menu mainstay. Along with fresh-baked cookies, the sweet shop will offer “Twisted Sodas” where customers choose a soda and a flavorful twist to add and enjoy.
The shop will also offer catering.
Cookie Co. has more than 16 locations and 25 under construction across the country with many more franchises in the works.
In other business news, Mr. Pickle’s Sandwich Shop recently opened up at 28251 Marguerite Parkway. The shop offers premium hot and cold sandwiches, wraps and salads. It also offers catering.
