Register today for Junior Lifeguard Training

Registration is now available for the City of Mission Viejo’s Junior Lifeguard Training at Montanoso Recreation Center. 

The training is a 5-week course, which takes place as follows: 

Group 1: Tuesdays – July 5-August 2 9 am - 3:30 pm

Group 2: Thursdays – July 7-August 4 9 am - 3:30 pm 

Taught by certified lifeguards, the class builds a foundation of knowledge and skills for future lifeguard employment focused on water safety, drowning prevention, and skills for helping others in the water.

Participants must be at least 11 years old and pass the swimming and skills test on the first day of class.
