Athletes, the 2nd Annual South County Open Track Meet is March 15!
Come out to compete against the top clubs and runners in the 2nd Annual South Orange County Open Track and Field Meet on Sunday, March 15 at Mission Viejo High School.
The meet is a partnership between the City of Mission Viejo, Saddleback Valley Unified School District and the prestigious Mission Viejo Track and Field Team. It is open to participants of all skill levels for ages 6-15 (no higher than 8th grade). A SCMAF-sanctioned event, the competition includes the 50-Meter Dash, 100-Meter Dash, 200-Meter Dash, 400-Meter Dash, 800-Meter Run, 1,600-Meter Run, Long Jump, High Jump, Softball Throw and Shot Put.
The top six finishers in each division will advance to the SCMAF Orange County Track and Field Qualifying Championships in May to compete against participants from all over Orange County.
Money raised from this track meet will be donated to the Mission Viejo Track Team for future athletes. To register, visit https://cityofmissionviejo.org/SouthOCTrackMeet. Online registration is available through March 12. After that, registration takes place on the day of the event.
