Local kids donate over $100 for homeless pets at Mission Viejo Animal Services Center

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is enjoying the fruit of some young entrepreneurs’ labor.

This week, members of the Moms of Saddleback Valley Club dropped by the center with some kids ages 3-10 who raised $120 for the homeless animals through sales at a lemonade stand.

“While at the center, the children took a tour with shelter staff to learn about the role of the center and responsible pet ownership,” said Animal Services Manager Gail DeYoung. “We are humbled by the generosity and compassion of this special group of kids toward the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.”
