Santa’s Arrival & Holiday Toy Drive Sunday, Nov. 26

Jolly old St. Nick is gearing up for his spectacular arrival at the Mission Viejo Civic Center on Sunday, November 26. The fun-filled celebration, which caters to folks of all ages, begins at 3 p.m. at 200 Civic Center.  Youngsters will enjoy craft projects, games and strolling Dickens Carolers spreading holiday cheer.

You can help make the holidays brighter for Mission Viejo’s adopted troops by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the Marine Adoption Committee’s booth at the event. The toys will be distributed to the families of the Headquarters Battalion of the 1st Marine Division at Camp Pendleton just before the holidays. See this flier for more information.

Sunday’s celebration will end with Santa’s dramatic arrival atop a fire engine at 6 p.m. With help from children, he will ring in the holidays by turning on the festive lights in Mission Viejo.
