Submitted by Lynnette Jasper was adopted in January and his new mom, Lynnette, had this to say about him: "Can't imagine life without him." It sounds like a purrfect match!
Here is a picture and video of Chuckie. He is still a little shy but getting acclimated and more confident each day. He is curious and even went in the shower today to drink water! He is eating and drinking and is coming out of his shell.
Hello! Just wanted to give an update on Tyson. We adopted him with the name "Billy". We decided to go with Tyson because on our drive from finding him on the side of the road, to driving him to the shelter, he was giving me so many kisses on my ear that he bit it! Now getting to know and love him, he loves to give love nibbles so his name is fitting! Tyson is doing great! After a first night of
Hi there! I wanted to let you all know that Harrison, who was adopted on 1/13/16 is doing great! His new name is Bowie (David Bowie died the week of his adoption and they both have one light and one dark eye). He has settled right into his new home and is so incredibly loved and cared for. He is so sweet and gentle, loving, mellow, healthy, etc. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for
Stella (Formerly Cadence) I got my puppy one week ago today. Her name at your shelter was Cadence, but we changed it to Stella. Her fruit-bat ears reminded me of the children's book about a bat named Stellaluna! We love her! She is the snuggliest dog I've ever had! She loves all her toys and her big back yard. She plays lots of fetch and she's been on many walks. Her favorite thing about going
We adopted “Mr. Bond” (formerly “Batman”) on Thursday 1/14. By that evening he owned us! Such a sweet loving little boy who loves people, not to mention attention (he can’t get enough!). He’s gotten settled amazingly fast. We are so fortunate this little love came into our lives. Thank you, MVAS!
We thought you all would like to know that these lovable boys are adjusting to their new surroundings nicely. We have only done brief introductions to our kitty, not much reaction from Ernie, but Burt is more curious. We will keep at it. :) Thank you to all of you who work and help these animals. You're Awesome!!
Remington is doing great! He's got milk bones hidden in every corner of the house already. We're going to take him to a trainer that specializes in deaf dogs so we can all learn sign language. Thank you so much for all you've done for him! We'll send more pictures as his fur fills in. **Update 1/16/16: Remy got his staples out today and no more cone! His skin looks great, and his personality is
Merry Christmas! I am getting used to my new name and so happy to be in my new home for the holidays. So many things to explore. Thanks for taking great care of me until I found a new home.
We are totally in love with this precious little creature! Sharing my lap with Jaybles...and cuddling with Karlie!
As you can see Oliver is making himself quite at home! And he is such a lover, kisses kisses. Leyla has been caught giving him a face wash. That is surely a good sign of acceptance! I just love watching the two tear thru the house after each other. Leyla and Oliver are becoming good friends. I adopted Leyla (honey nut) from your shelter 5 years ago and she is a great "big sister" she even lets
He's very happy. He's the king of the house. We love him more than words can say.
