New Amazon Fresh, Raising Cane’s opening this spring
A celebration is slated for April 21 at 7 am to mark the grand opening of the new Amazon Fresh store in Mission Viejo.
The grand opening celebration for the new full-service grocery store off Crown Valley Parkway at Medical Center Road starts at 4 pm. Amazon Fresh is an online and physical grocery store that offers low prices on everyday items along with same-day delivery and pickup in select locations for Prime members, according to its website.
In the same location at 26940 Crown Valley Parkway, which used to house an OfficeMax, the new 3,400-square-foot drive-through Raising Cane’s eatery that specializes in crispy chicken fingers is expected to open early May.
The grand openings of the store and eatery were delayed due supply chain matters, according to the developer.

So surprised you opened an Amazon Fresh at 26940 Crown Valley Pkwy., Mission Viejo, CA. No turn left.
This location close to freeway next to Costco, Hospital, Restaurants and Mall. It’s the biggest car congestion and will get worse in southern Orange County. The traffic gets backed up for half a mile at times. You couldn’t pay me to shop in this area.
