A variety of nearly new materials for all ages will be available for purchase including children's books, holiday-themed and coffee-table books and cookbooks as well as records, CDs, Blu-Rays, games and puzzles. Prices mostly range from $.50 to $2, and cash and credit cards will be accepted for payment. New items available each day!

The Holiday Book Sale takes place inside, near the front entrance of the library.

Local historian and former Mayor Robert Breton will present a fast-paced, image-driven look at the history of the Mission Viejo Library on Thursday, October 27 at 6 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber.

The presentation includes information about the library's inception, construction, and 25 years of community service. There will also be a fun trivia game with prizes at the end of the program.

No registration is necessary for this free program.

Join us for a magical evening of winter enchantment in the land of Narnia. Everyone is invited to a royal ball where all will be crowned kings and queens. Dancing (lessons included!), music, refreshments, and crafts await. Come in your finest or most jolly garb for this outdoor event.

The Winter Ball is being held in the beautifully renovated outdoor space of the Potocki Center for the Arts.

Don't miss a special Writers Present with authors Rex Ogle, Tracy Badua, and Alexandra Overy at 2 pm on Sunday, October 23 at the Norman P. Murray Center. 

The authors will discuss their latest releases before signing books, which will be available for purchase onsite from Creating Conversations.

This free program is perfect for readers in elementary and middle school. Patrons will also enjoy fun Halloween-themed activities and crafts.

Students in grades 2 through 6 can work with volunteer tutors every Tuesday during the school year. Students are advised to bring specific assignments to work on.
