Help sweet Maggie keep her New Year's resolutions by adopting her today
With a New Year, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center has resolved two things - to help Maggie lose weight and find her a great home. Maggie, a 3-year-old miniature pinscher, was surrendered to the center when her owner was moved to an assisted-living facility. Obviously, her former owner spoiled her with food because she came to us weighing a whopping 37 pounds! Because she has been on a doggie diet while here, she has already lost 7 pounds, but she has a ways to go. Therefore, she needs to go home with someone who will commit to continuing her diet and exercise regime.
In contrast to her full-figure, Maggie's personality is quite delicate. Shy and sweet, she is hesitant meeting new people at first, but when she warms up, she gives little kisses and snuggles. Because she grew up in a quiet home, Maggie would do best with a retired person or couple or in a home without kids.
The Dedicated Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) is sponsoring Maggie's adoption, she will go home with an approved applicant for $20. Help Maggie keep her New Year's resolutions and take her home today!
The center is located at 28095 Hillcrest. For more information, call 949-470-3045.
