Amazing jazz guitarists will take the Mission Viejo stage Sept. 9

Mark your calendar for an unforgettable performance by two remarkable jazz guitarists on Saturday, September 9. 

Part of the popular Lord of the Strings concert series, Martin Taylor and Bireli Lagrene will take the stage at 7 pm in the City Hall Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.

Widely considered to be the world’s foremost exponent of solo jazz and fingerstyle guitar, Taylor possesses an inimitable style that has earned him global acclaim. Over his stellar career, Taylor has amassed a record 14 British Jazz Awards as a guitarist. Several of his albums have been in the Top 10 in the USA and Europe.

Hailing from France, Lagrene made a name for himself in the style known as gypsy jazz. With a discography of more than 20 albums and many awards including the Victoires de la Musique in 2002, he continues with his unique music today that honors his roots.
