Join Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Ricky the Raindrop and the Santa Margarita Water District on Saturday, May 4 for the annual Water Festival at 26111 Antonio Parkway.

This fun-filled event is from 10 am to 2 pm boasting bounce houses, reptiles, glitter tattoos and fire truck rides. Families will learn from garden and leak detection experts and have the chance to walk through a 5 ½-foot water pipeline.

Barbequed hot dogs, water and snow cones will be offered as well as a special water saber and lunch bag giveaways. Patrons can snap photos with Darth Vader, Princess Leia and Ricky the Raindrop and tour the construction of Orange County’s largest recycled-water reservoir. The Trampas Canyon Reservoir will hold 1.6-billion-gallons of water and allow the Santa Margarita Water District to recycle 100% of its wastewater.
