Applications now available for City Commissions

The City is seeking applications from residents interested in filling vacancies on the City's Planning and Transportation Commission, Community Services Commission and Investment Advisory Commission. 

The commissions, except the seven-member Community Services Commission, are comprised of five members appointed by the City Council for 2-year terms.  The City Council will make its appointments at the January 12, 2021 meeting. 

Residents interested in applying for a commission should file a brief application form with the City Clerk's Office by 5 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2021.  Applicants must be at least 18 and reside in Mission Viejo.  Folks applying for the Investment Advisory Commission should have experience as a banker; investment banker; financial planner; registered investment advisor; or similar qualifications.
