Don’t miss author Jen White discussing her newest book for tweens – “A Thousand Minutes to Sunlight” – in a live virtual event at 7 pm on Thursday, April 29.

Her latest middle-grade novel, “A Thousand Minutes to Sunlight” explores family, friendship, middle school and mental health. To stave off the anxiety plaguing her, 12-year-old Cora counts the minutes that fill her day and searches for a lost treasure near her home in California, but the sudden arrival of her long-lost uncle threatens to upend her carefully constructed existence.

White, who lives in San Clemente, also penned “Survival Strategies of the Almost Brave.” The Mission Viejo Library is teaming up with Warwick’s to host this virtual Writers Present program.

Email libraryprograms@cityofmissionviejo.org to register and receive your Zoom invitation for this free family-friendly event.
