Bond Fire Update

bond fire

The City of Mission Viejo has activated its Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in response to the fire burning in Silverado/Williams Canyon known as the “Bond Fire.”

Parts of Lake Forest (Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills) are currently under mandatory evacuation. While Mission Viejo is not under evacuation warning at the present time, City staff, Orange County Fire Authority and Mission Viejo Police Services are monitoring the situation closely.

You can be prepared by finding your fire zone here or see individual zone maps here. Call the County hotline at 714-628-7085 for more information and view the County's full evacuation map online

Note that emergency information will be distributed to affected residents through the AlertOC notification system and the City's website if the situation changes. Residents can also stay tuned for updates on the City's social media channels.
