Bravo: Kiwanis Club honors students

The Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo recognized three Silverado High School students as part of its mission of fostering student achievement.

Principal David Gordon was on hand for the Kiwanis' ceremony Tuesday to highlight each student's accomplishments. The school selected the following students based on their character and achievements.

Lindsay Anderson was praised by Silverado’s staff for obtaining her diploma despite already passing the California High School Proficiency Exam.

Ricardo Ojeda was recognized for his genuine good nature. After graduation, he plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.

Hunter Fry has overcome many challenges to achieve his high school diploma. He plans to attend Saddleback College in the fall.
