Census Day: Time to get counted Mission Viejo

Today is Census Day, the day that determines who is counted in the 2020 Census and where they are counted. The U.S. Constitution mandates a census of the population every 10 years. Responding to the 2020 Census is easy, important and key to shaping our future representations and funding until 2030. It’s essential for everyone to be counted. 

If you haven’t done so yet, you can participate online at https://my2020census.gov.  You can also see how Mission Viejo is doing and encourage family and friends to participate by checking out the bureau’s online response rates map. The map is updated regularly to reflect the self-response rate of each state, county, city, census tract, congressional district and tribal area.
