Check out beautiful works of arts by local talent

fall exhibit

Three impressive new exhibits are now on display at City facilities.

At the Norman P. Murray Center, check out the eye-catching tile mosaics and collages by Susan Ashby. A lifelong Californian who recently moved to Mission Viejo, Ashby explored multiple art forms before finding her niche. Her intricate mosaics capture subjects from nature, while her collages evoke an inventive blend of music and cubism.

In the Mission Viejo Library's north wing, the second annual Staff Art Showcase highlights the creativity of the Library and Cultural Services department. This lively exhibit features works in a variety of media including painting, costume design, digital art, music composition, and more.

Over in the south wing of the library, you can see a captivating display of paintings and drawings by Eric Theodore. Originally from Tennessee, Theodore is currently in the MFA graduate program at Laguna College of Art + Design and dives with the Mission Viejo Nadadores. His work explores the athleticism of swimmers, divers, and gymnasts.

These exhibits run through the end of October.
