Check out impressive artwork on display at Mission Viejo Library

If you’ve been to the Mission Viejo Library lately, you’ve probably seen the fabulous artwork on display by local artists Judy Carroll and Simone Zhang.
 
Judy is a self-taught colored-pencil and mosaic artist who loves the creative process from deciding what to draw, composing the sketch to the manipulation of vivid color and creating depth through layering and texture. She finds her inspiration from organic and textured forms found in nature.
 
Simone was schooled in design and interior architectural design and has worked for some of the top architectural design firms. Her notable projects include designs for the Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas; residential communities and interior design for Chevy’s Fresh Mex Restaurant. Simone is also a talented painter and is proud to display her acrylic paintings in the north wing of the library.
 
The impressive exhibits are on display through Friday at 100 Civic Center Drive.
