Young and old alike are joining the pickleball craze in Mission Viejo and now you can too. The Sierra Recreation Center is offering 5-week beginner pickleball clinics on Fridays from December 30 through January 27 and February 10 through March 10.

Pickleball is considered America's fastest-growing sport. Created for all ages and skill levels, the game combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong. The one-hour small group clinics are offered in the morning at 9 a.m. and at night at 5 p.m.  For more information, check out our beginner pickleball clinic flier.

You can also learn how to play the sport during the free pickleball demonstration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 7. The free demos take place the first Saturday of the month and are a great way to pick up some pointers for your game. Drop-in play times and private lessons are also available.
