Children of all abilities will have a blast during the Kid’s Run at Oso Fit 5K Feb. 25
Kids can learn about being healthy, the importance of exercise and have fun during the quarter- and half-mile race at the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Community Health Fair on Saturday, February 25.
The fun takes place at the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way beginning at 7:30 am.
The Kid’s Run – hosted by Spirit League and supported by Children’s Cerebral Palsy Movement – begins at 9:30 am and is a fun course for kids of all abilities. Kids will run or walk on a flat, safe loop. Your child will gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment when they cross the finish line.
Pre-register your child now and 100 percent of your pre-registration fee will go to the non-profit of your choice. The half- and quarter-mile fee is $5 and will increase to $7 after 7 pm on Friday, February 17.
The Oso Fit 5K Fun Run begins at 8:30 am and the Community Health Fair opens at 7:30 am. The fair is free to attend regardless of one’s participation in the Oso Fit races.
