Children’s book illustrator Shiho Pate discusses her latest book June 3

Don’t miss a special Writers Present program with children’s book illustrator Shiho Pate when she visits the Mission Viejo Library on Saturday, June 3 to discuss her latest picture book, “Ramen for Everyone.”

This free event for age 5 and older begins at 3 pm in The Kershaw Garden at 100 Civic Center.

“Ramen for Everyone” follows a young boy who aspires to make a bowl of ramen as delicious as his dad’s - and runs into some surprises on his first attempt. Pate will discuss her career and artistic process as well as present an interactive drawing lesson for attendees.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase onsite from A Whale of a Tale Children’s Bookshop.

Attendees are invited to step inside the library after the program to view an exhibit of Pate’s original illustrations.
