City Council honors three outstanding youth sports teams

District 68 Champions

The City Council on Tuesday recognized three outstanding youth sports teams for their outstanding first and second-place finishes this summer.

The North Mission Viejo Junior All-Stars took first place in the prestigious Tournament of Champions and District 68 Championship games.

Viejo Little League’s 11-year-old All-Star team gained forever bragging rights by winning the District 68 Championships.

Mission Viejo Girls Softball 12U All-Star team “Relentless” rounded out the Western National Championships with an impressive second-place win.

The players, coaches and managers of each of these teams displayed talent, sportsmanship and spirit and made this City proud!
