City preparing for holiday weekend

While City Hall prepares for the holiday weekend, the public should be aware of closures at some Mission Viejo facilities. 

City Hall will be closed for normal business on Monday, but the City will host its annual Memorial Day ceremony at 8:30 a.m.

The Mission Viejo Library will operate normal business hours Saturday and Sunday and be closed on Monday.  The library reopens at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center will be open regular hours this weekend and closed on Monday.  The center reopens at 8 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center will be closed on Monday.  Limited staff will be available to respond to emergency calls only.  The center reopens at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.

The Mission Viejo Recreation Centers will have the following hours in place Monday:

Montanoso Recreation Center - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sierra Recreation Center - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Marguerite Tennis Pavilion - 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Felipe Tennis Center - Closed
