Generous couple finds new furry family member while donating items to homeless pets

Cyndi and Mick Yanoschak

Some homeless pets at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center are reaping the benefits of a couple’s generosity with new beds, toys and treats for the holiday season.

In memory of their beloved toy poodle Riki, Cyndi and Mick Yanoschak donate food and items from the center’s Donation Wish List every year for the animals waiting for their forever homes. This week the pair dropped off seven Perla dog beds full of toys, treats, leashes, collars and more along with large bags of pet food.

“As luck would have it, while they were here dropping off these wonderful donations, they found and fell in love with another toy poodle which they will adopt soon,” said Animal Services Supervisor Brynn Lavison.  “Thank you, Cyndi and Mick, for your kindness and generosity.”
