Donate blood in City Hall parking lot at UCI Medical Center Blood Drive April 6

The UCI Medical Center Bloodmobile will be in the City of Mission Viejo Civic Center parking lot on Tuesday, April 6 from 9 am to 4 pm.

The drive is being hosted by a local family who had a member receive a complex liver transplant that required 180 pints of blood. The family is grateful to the 180 people who donated the life-saving blood, and wants to give back to the community by hosting blood drives. The family’s goal is to collect the 180 pints that were needed for the surgery.

Due to COVID-19, and to ensure social-distancing, appointments are required. No walk-ins will be allowed.

Everyone who donates blood will receive a T-shirt and a certificate for a pint of Baskin-Robbins ice cream.
