Don’t miss the chance to meet bestselling author and TV host in Mission Viejo March 14

Brad Meltzer, one of the nation’s most beloved thriller authors, will discuss his new book “The Escape Artist” on Wednesday, March 14 as part of the City’s popular Writers Present program. The enchanting free presentation begins at 7 p.m. at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.

For two decades, Meltzer has been entertaining readers with a dozen thrillers, a successful children’s book series, comic books and TV shows.  Meltzer is responsible for helping find the missing 9/11 flag that firefighters raised at Ground Zero in his TV show, “Brad Meltzer's Lost History.”

He’s also the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling series of picture book autobiographies about real American heroes such as Amelia Earhart, Abraham Lincoln, Jackie Robinson, Helen Keller and Albert Einstein. Most recently, Meltzer appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

A $32 ticket admits two people for reserved seating and priority book signing plus one first-edition copy of “The Escape Artist.”  Free seating begins at 6:15 p.m.  The Friends of the Library will host a wine bar.  Books purchased on site will also receive priority book signing after online purchases.
