Don’t miss Upstream Band performing in Jeronimo Tunnel March 13

Upstream Band

Get ready for weeknight excitement Wednesday, March 13 when Upstream Band performs in the acoustically rich Jeronimo Tunnel.

Taking place from 7 to 8 pm, the concert is part of “Subterranean Soundscapes,” a free event series featuring live music and entertainment that gives folks the chance to experience the Oso Creek Trail in a whole new way.

This vibrant concert features the tropical rhythms of Southern California’s premier reggae and calypso band Upstream. Band leader Haile Blackman hails from the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and is the son of the legendary soca music creator, the late Ras Shorty I. Steel drum extraordinaire Derek Brewstafari is also a Trinidad and Tobago native and will tug at your heartstrings with his melodic steel drum tones.

The concert is open to all ages, and no registration is required. Beverages and light refreshments will be available for purchase. Audience chairs will be provided, and an ADA-accessible portable restroom will be available onsite.

The Jeronimo Tunnel is located near the intersection of Jeronimo and Arbolitos.

Street parking is reserved on Jeronimo near the tunnel. Patrons are also welcome to embrace the unique setting of the tunnel by strolling along the Oso Creek Trail to the venue. Park conveniently at any of the nearby access points to the trail and wander under the stars, soak up the natural vibes, and join us for an unforgettable night of music.
