Duck Paint and Hunt Community Art Project this Sunday

If you are seeking something fun, artistic and unique to do this weekend, then take part in the Rubber Duck Paint & Hunt community art project in Mission Viejo this Sunday, June 28.

Head to the Oso Creek trailhead off the La Paz parking lot at 1 pm to paint on a rubber duck; an image of a duck; draw a duck; create one; or use a rubber duck in your art.

City staff will have rubber ducks available, but participants can bring their own duck, canvas, cardboard or paper if desired. Social distancing will be in place, and participants should bring gloves and wear masks.

After creating your masterpiece, hide it along the trail, post a picture of your creation on social media with the hashtag #duckpaint2020 and any clues to its location for duck hunters to find.
