Eagle Scout projects continue to benefit Mission Viejo

Boy scouts

Several Boy Scouts continue to beautify the area and benefit our environment through projects that have elevated them to the prestigious rank of Eagle.

Troy Coulston’s Eagle Scout project at the Marguerite Aquatics Center included 75 volunteers planting several hundred plants and nearly 20 trees along the slope area near the pool.

For David Gourgy’s project, he and 12 volunteers installed lodge-pole fencing near the open space area on Via Noveno.

Like a master conductor, David Georgy led 15 volunteers in also installing lodge-pole fencing on Via Noveno near Los Alisos. The fence provides a partition between the public sidewalk and open space area.

Jonathon Utley led 50 volunteers in planting hundreds of plants at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.

Armed with 15 volunteers, Dylan Hanson also installed lodge-pole fencing on Via Noveno.

Cameron Chao and his 14 volunteers enhanced the landscaping and added 100 lineal feet of fencing to the Via Noveno site.

These six scouts have earned their wings and made this City proud.
