Emotional MVTV DUI reenactment event video now on YouTube
On the heels of a YouTube Short the City created that has garnered more than 23 million views, join Mission Viejo Mayor Trish Kelley and Orange County Fire Authority’s Steve Concialdi for a deeper discussion about the staging of an emotional reenactment of a DUI traffic collision at Capistrano Valley High School (CVHS).
The mock DUI was hosted by the Orange County Fire Authority, Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, Friends Against Drinking and Driving, Mission Hospital, Care/Falck Ambulance, O’Connor Mortuary, TIP and students, with the dramatic performance designed to deliver a powerful lesson for youth about the tragic impacts which can result from driving under the influence.
The Mission Viejo Television video also features emotional scenes from the performance as well as interviews with the organizations, student actors and more.
