Families can make a splash during Grand Re-Opening of Marguerite Aquatics Complex April 7
Get ready to make a splash during the Grand Re-Opening of the Marguerite Aquatics Complex on Saturday, April 7.
Along with Olympic-style pageantry, the event will give families the chance to enjoy the newly renovated pools with fun games, competitions and recreational swimming throughout the day.
Swimmers can test their stamina on two water obstacle courses with timed heats as well as walk on water in bubble balls (a swim test is required for all pool activities.) The event will boast fun activities in and out of the pool. Entry to the event is FREE with food trucks providing delectable fare for purchase.
Opening ceremonies are from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the activities taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 27474 Casta Del Sol. Guest parking is available at Trabuco Hills High School with FREE shuttles to the event (no parking on site).
The re-opening celebration is also a great way for folks to give back by volunteering. Volunteers, who must be at least 15, are sought for the morning reception; site logistics; ushers/seating; recreation activities; and parking and concierge.
