A unique Girls Empowerment Camp is being hosted by the Orange County Fire Authority for teen girls ages 14-18 to introduce campers to fire service and provide them with an exclusive opportunity to experience a realistic, hands-on overview of firefighting.

The free camp offers lessons on life skills and guidance for pursuing a career in public safety.  Campers will also be provided lunch, a t-shirt, hat, water bottle and backpack, and the camp takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. both days, at OCFA Headquarters, 1 Fire Authority Road, Irvine.
