Free Paint Drop-Off Event set for Sept. 14

Mission Viejo residents and businesses are invited to drop off their old paint for proper disposal at a free Paint Drop-Off Event on Saturday, September 14.

Our neighboring City of Rancho Santa Margarita is hosting the event with PaintCare from 8 am to noon in the parking lot at 22112 El Paseo.

Paint manufacturers created PaintCare to provide convenient places to recycle leftover paint – such as paint stores and drop-off events.

Households can bring any amount of paint, stain and varnish. Limits apply to businesses (see flier). Paint must be sealed in its original container with original manufacturer label. No aerosol spray paints or paint containers larger than five gallons will be accepted.
